Super Boof is the strain that took over Instagram and dispensaries in 2022–2023. It is a specific phenotype of a strain called Blockberry, bred by Blockhead Buds, but it was selected and named by the cultivator Mobile Jay.
The name is provocative, but the quality is undeniable. Super Boof is known for its "loud" terpene profile—an aggressive mix of rotten cherries, earthy musk, and the sharp citrus tang of Tropicana Cookies. 🌱 The Vegetative Phase (Weeks 1–4)
Week 1 (Explosion): The vigor is elite. The Tropicana Cookies lineage makes this plant grow fast. Roots establish aggressively.
Week 2 (Structure): The fan leaves are enormous—some of the biggest in the garden. They are dark green and waxy. The internodal spacing is perfect (medium).
Week 3 (Training): We top at the 5th node. The plant handles stress effortlessly. It barely slows down. We do heavy leaf tucking because the giant fan leaves will shade out the lowers.
Week 4 (The Flip): The canopy is full and lush. We defoliate the bottom skirt (lollipopping) heavily. We flip to 12/12.
🌸 The Flowering Phase (Weeks 1–9)
Week 1 (Stretch): The stretch is moderate to high (approx 100%). It grows vigorously but sturdy. The stems are thick and don't require as much support as a floppy OG.
Week 2 (Pistils): Flowering begins. We see pink/magenta hues on the early pistils—a sign of the color to come.
Week 3 (Aroma): The smell is immediate. A sharp, tangy citrus (Tropicana) mixed with a deep, dark fruit note (Black Cherry).
