By crossing the original Orange Bud mother with a specific, elite cut of Mimosa (Clementine x Purple Punch), they retained the massive yield and ease of growth of the original but supercharged the flavor. While the old Orange Bud was "Skunky Orange," the 2.0 version is "Freshly Squeezed Tangerine Juice." It offers the best of both worlds: the reliability of an old-school Skunk and the bag appeal of a new-school exotic.

🌱 The Vegetative Phase (Weeks 1–4)
Week 1 (Establishment): The seedlings are vigorous. The Mimosa genetics add a bit of "punch" to the early growth. Leaves are broad and vibrant green.
Week 2 (Structure): It grows with a classic hybrid structure—sturdy stems and medium internodal spacing. It doesn't stretch as much as a pure Haze, making it manageable.
Week 3 (Training): We top at the 5th node. The plant responds well, bushing out immediately. We do light LST to open up the center of the canopy.
Week 4 (The Flip): The plants are uniform and healthy. They have a naturally rounded shape. We flip to 12/12 when they are about 18 inches tall.
🌸 The Flowering Phase (Weeks 1–9)
Week 1 (Transition): The stretch is moderate (approx. 75%). It is very predictable. We tuck the branches under the trellis net to ensure an even canopy.
Week 2 (Pistils): Flowering begins quickly. White pistils emerge, and the plant looks very happy.
